TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PLAY

Rules: All visitors must strictly abide by the Club rules and the rules and etiquette of golf as laid down by the R & A.
- Booking: The course is available to visiting players. Bookings must be made in advance through either the Secretary or the golf shop and a booking form and deposit must be made. A booking will remain unconfirmed until the completed booking form and deposit is received.
- Visiting Groups Fees and Deposits: A deposit of £50.00 must be returned with all booking forms otherwise the booking will not be accepted. Cheque's are payable to PHGC.
- Cancellations: Deposits will not be refunded in the event of the visiting party canceling their booking. The club reserves the right at its absolute discretion to cancel a booking and refund the deposit in whole or part.
- Tee Reservation: The 1st tee will be reserved from an agreed time and length of the reservation being dependant upon the numbers in your party.
- Format of Play: All play will be in four balls and from the Yellow Tee for men and the Red Tee for ladies unless otherwise requested at the time of booking.
- Adverse Weather: All players are responsible for their own safety when playing the course in the event of thunder and lightening. Members, guests and visitors playing the course in conditions of poor visibility do so at their own risk and all players are advised to affect their own insurance.

Changing of dress on the car park is not permitted.
- Course Maintenance: Although every effort will be made to ensure course maintenance does not interfere with your event, the weather or any other factor outside the control of the Club may indicate when the green staff carry out certain course maintenance. The Secretary/Proprietor are empowered at their absolute discretion to amend the green fee to compensate for any inconvenience course maintenance work may cause.
- Practice: please use the practice area adjacent to the 1st tee, the chipping area at the front entrance to the drive and the putting green on the near the 1st tee. Chipping onto the putting green is not allowed.
- Trolleys: Only wide wheeled trolleys are permitted on the course. The professional shop has a number of trolleys available for hire. Power trolleys are allowed at all times. Ride-on buggies are permitted subject to weather conditions.
- Slow Play: If a match fails to keep its place on the course and looses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match following to pass. A round of golf should take no longer than four hours. Please keep up with the players in front and not just in front of the players behind.
- Loss or Damage: The Society/Visiting Players will be held responsible for any loss, damage or breakage that occurs on the course, to a buggy or in the clubhouse caused by one or more of its members.
